SALES TAX (VAT)

All prices shown on this site, prior to registration, include the United Kingdom sales tax (VAT) of 20%, where applicable. Any order shipped to a European Union (EU) destination has to pay this tax, with the exception of the Channel Islands. If you live in the Channel Islands, on registration you must select United Kingdom (Channel Islands) from the Country drop-down list in order to have the VAT deducted. 

If the destination address is in any other part of the world, then the tax is deducted on screen and from your order. In order to see this you have to register, or log in if already registered. Once you have logged in, if you live outside the EU all prices will be shown without tax. However, if the delivery address for your order is within the EU the tax will be added back. The reverse also applies: if you live within the EU prices will include tax, but if you specify a destination address outside the EU then the tax will be deducted.

Just to be clear, here are the rules :-

• Orders placed and delivered within the EU will be subject to UK tax of 20%.
• Orders placed outside the EU, for delivery outside the EU, will have no tax levied.
• Orders placed outside the EU for delivery within the EU will have tax added when the destination address is defined.
• Orders placed within the EU for delivery outside the EU will have tax deducted when the delivery address is defined.

If you are not logged in all prices shown will be inclusive of sales tax.

CUSTOMS

Orders delivered within the EU will not be subject to any further taxes or duties.

Regarding orders delivered outside the EU, your order total does not include the taxes or duties of your country - we have no control over these charges. Please consider this when sending a gift direct to the recipient. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so please contact your local customs office for further information. The international customs classification number for leather guitar straps is 9209 9200 00. Quoting this should help you get precise information.

Every non-EU destination order leaving our warehouse will have a customs declaration sticker placed on the outside of the package, declaring its contents, value and the classification number. This is used by the delivery company, or your country's customs office, to calculate any charge to be levied and they will inform you of the amount, if any, to be paid.
